Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 21, 2026.
What we collect
- Account identity: your email (used as the credential for sign in) and a display name, provided when 4S Academy enrols you.
- Enrolment details: information 4S Academy records to run your enrolment, which may include your phone number, date of birth, school year or grade, and a parent or guardian contact.
- Invoicing identifier: where an invoice is required, a fiscal identification number (such as a NIF, NIE, or passport number). We do not store payment card or bank account numbers.
- Study activity: every quiz attempt, every answer, and timing data. We use this to compute your progress and diagnostic results.
- Usage telemetry: anonymised performance traces from Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights when enabled, and structured error logs to Sentry when an error occurs.
What we don't do
- We never sell or rent personal data to third parties.
- We never use student data to train external AI models.
- We don't track you across sites, and we don't run ad pixels.
Where data lives
Data is stored in our managed database (currently Supabase, United States region). Backups are taken automatically by the platform. Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS) is enforced.
Who can see student data
4S Academy is the data controller for its students. 4S Academystaff (administrators) can see a student's enrolment information and study progress in order to run the academy and support the student. There are no third party centres, and student data is not shared with other organisations.
Children's data
4S Academy serves students of school age, many of whom are minors. Where a student is below the age of digital consent under applicable law (in Spain this is 14 under the LOPDGDD), 4S Academyobtains consent from the student's parent or guardian before processing the student's personal data, recorded at the time of enrolment. We do not knowingly process a younger child's data without that consent.
Your rights
- Request a copy of your data (email support, see below).
- Request deletion of your data (email support).
- Update your display name or phone in /settings/profile.
